MEET OUR TEAM

KARIE PURCELL, CEO

Karie has a combined 20+ years of experience in the accounting and business management industries. She’s passionate about providing outstanding service to her clients—and to help them achieve their career goals while keeping their personal lives in order. Karie was voted Woman of the Year in 2009 and is the President-Elect for the Encino Chamber of Commerce. She was raised in Michigan. She moved to California in 2000 (seeking a change in weather), where she currently resides with her business partner, and husband, Shane Purcell.

SHANE PURCELL CFO

Shane has a background in industrial design and project management for a Tier One automotive supplier. He enjoys working with people and using his management experience in a more personal setting. A native of Michigan, as well, Shane moved to California in 2008. Together, Shane and Karie have four lovely children and one grandson. They have owned and operated KSA Management together since November 2008 and look forward to building their business together.

Taxes

At KSA Management, we pride ourselves on our ability to be a single point of contact for all our clients’ bookkeeping needs. We provide accurate and timely records of receiving and paying invoices all the way through filing a tax return. We are experienced with quarterly payroll taxes, business returns, and personal returns, including multiple state returns for touring. We also recognize that many of our clients have existing relationships with a CPA that files their tax returns for them. We are happy to provide statements and ledgers to your CPA and work closely with them to ensure your tax returns are filed accurately.

Bill Pay

We work with our clients to direct all invoices to our office for payment so there is no need to worry about the bills being paid while you are traveling. Our comprehensive Datafaction accounting software system allows us to keep a digital copy of each invoice and transaction. For informational purposes or in the event of an audit, we will always have an accurate record of invoices paid on your behalf. We keep a close eye on your transaction history to detect unusual billing activity and monitor credit card purchases for unusual transactions to protect against theft. At KSA, we have in place a robust approval protocol for the prevention of fraud on your accounts. At your request, we can even put you in the approval process so no payments can be made until you have reviewed and approved them.

Bookkeeping

Accurate bookkeeping is the lifeblood of business and personal finances. At KSA Management, we provide comprehensive bookkeeping services so you will always have the information you need for important financial decisions:

Payroll

Providing accurate payroll records is an important part of having personal or business employees.
